Abby Stewart

ABOUT

SINGER | SONGWRITER

Abby Stewart is a powerhouse country singer-songwriter from Kingston, Ontario, known for her soaring vocals, heartfelt storytelling, and undeniable stage presence. Performing has always been where she feels most at home, and she’s already built an impressive resume across Canada and beyond.

She has opened for major artists including Hunter Hayes, Dan + Shay, Brett Kissel, Dean Brody, Dallas Smith, Aaron Pritchett, Tim Hicks, Jade Eagleson, Jess Moskaluke, Michelle Wright, Tebey, and more. Her performance highlights span some of the country’s biggest festivals and events, including Boots & Hearts Music Festival, Havelock Country Jamboree, Ottawa Bluesfest, Trackside Music Fest, and the CMAOntario weekend, as well as headlining appearances at the CNE and Rockin' In the Square in her hometown.

As a songwriter, Abby brings vulnerability, strength, and nostalgia to her lyrics, often exploring themes of growing up, identity, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Whether delivering a high-energy anthem or an intimate ballad, her songs come from a place of truth and connection, making listeners feel seen and understood.

Her debut EP “Firsts” arrived in 2015, featuring the radio single “I’m Still Faster” and her first music video, which has surpassed half a million views on YouTube. In 2017, she teamed up with Invictus Entertainment and Big Star Records to release the duet “What If They’re Wrong?” to national radio, earning airplay on 22 stations across Canada.

Abby's “Love’s Gone” was released in 2023 & written by country superstar Kelsea Ballerini alongside Nancy Peacock and Brad Ellis, with a music video directed by Abby’s younger sister & Fanshawe Film & Broadcasting prorgram graduate, Annie Stewart (in collaboration with Spark Creative Communications).

Her most recent single "Halo At Home", released this past February to a sold-out single release party crowd, was co-written by Abby, Nancy Peacock, & Sandy Ramos in Nashville. It was added to both Sirius XM 171 & Amazon Music Canada's "Just North of Nashville" editorial playlist, & is currently climbing the Canadian Indie Country Countdown, currently sitting at #3 & still climbing.

Beyond Canada, Abby has made frequent trips to Nashville, Tennessee, performing on Broadway and writing with respected Music Row songwriters, further expanding her artistry and reach.

With over a million views online, a growing catalogue of radio-supported singles, and a reputation as one of Canada’s rising country voices, Abby Stewart continues to carve out her place in the genre—one heartfelt song and unforgettable performance at a time.
